GOD
BLESS AMERICA
In support of our President and all those who serve in our armed forces in
their efforts during the War with Iraq. Let us also remember the people who
perished, the policemen, firemen, and volunteers rendering assistance, and all the
innocent bystanders in the September 11, 2001 tragedy. Our prayers go out to the
friends and families of the deceased. In times of adversity, let us find the
strength and unity that have made our country great. Let us cherish our freedom that so
many have died to preserve; and solidify our resolve to insure that they have not died in
vain. God bless America and keep her strong.

More than 200 residents and dignitaries gathered at the Northampton Commons

September 11th. After the singing of the National Anthem by
Council Rock South High School students, Northampton Supervisors Chairman James Kinney
provided opening remarks and Supervisor George Komelasky read the names of the 18 Bucks
County victims of 911 as the flag was lowered to half mast by township Fire Marshal
Frank Fenton. An invocation was then presented by Pastor William Thompson of St.
Johns United Methodist Church, Ivyland. Following the invocation was the playing of
taps by Peter Palestina, Jr. son of Northampton Supervisor Pete Palestina and a
