Congratulations Mike

NOVEMBER 2, 2004 was victory Day for our new Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick.  Mike takes office in January.   Mike Fitzpatrick was unanimously endosed by the delegates representing the GOP at the special endorsement meeting of August 12, 2004.  Because of the announcement of retirement by our current Congressman Jim Greenwood, the GOP needed to quickly slate a replacement candidate for the 8th Congressional district.  Mike quickly stepped to the plate and offered himself as a candidate.

For those who know him, nothing further need be said.  We couldn't have found a more perfect candidate to pick up the gauntlet.  For the many years as one of our County Commissioners Mike has been steadfast in his service to all Bucks County residents and has been seen here, there and everywhere.  He has always found the time to be at special events even when he was not specifically requested to do so.  He is that kind of person.  If something important is going on and needs attention, Mike is there working for Bucks County.  Now, Mike will be in a position to not only continue working for Bucks County, but for the nation as well.
